Show moreA memorial plaque that once adorned a maple tree planted on Veterans Memorial Green in Middletown, Connecticut. This plaque was for Earl R. Clark, a Middletown resident who was killed at the battle of Seicheprey on April 20, 1918. Clark enlisted in the Connecticut National Guard on June 23, 1916 and served with Co. C, 1st Connecticut Infantry. He took part in the Mexican Punitive Expedition before heading to France with the newly created 102d Infantry Regiment, 26th "Yankee" Division. Show less
