Show moreHe often talked about being in France but was always light and humorous. He loved to talk about France. He shipped put in 1917 and was in Philadelphia when the armistice was signed. He talked about how excited people were. He came back to Bridgeport in the Zost Company or possibly Remington. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was extremely patriotic. He married May Irene Condon after the war. They met at Sacred Heart Church. They lived on Gregory Street in Bridgeport and was active in Sacred Heart Church. He had three children that were all raised in Bridgeport. He enjoyed signing and entertainment. He was one of nine children. Always went to parades not sure if he participated. In later years he was a salesman for Tetley Tea and Standard Brands. Show less
