The three boards contain different lessons (Connecticut counties, a nutrition lesson, and a financial math lesson). A suspended flip pad with the song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" is to the left of the teachers desk. Three boys and a girl sit at a long desk at the right side of the room. School No. 4 or Lovely Street School was built in 1831, altered several times over the years, serving until the late 1940s.
